8/5/2024 first time - I ventured to this establishment for dinner tonight. I choose - steamed rice / chow mein, chicken with green beans, orange chicken, and eggplant with tofu. The food was plentiful and tasty. This is an Asian fast food. So, customer service is minimal. No greeting, and thank you here. I ordered to go, and it was quickly shoveled in foam containers and doubled bagged. No ambiance If you want a place that provides a meal that can be 3 or 4 meals. This is the place for you. I'll be sharing with my boyfriend. I don't want to be wasteful.

A great bang for your buck meal! The hype is absolutely real -- they stuff your takeout box to the brim until it can barely close. This specific HK express is located on Beach Blvd. in a Vietnamese plaza. When we arrived on Sunday evening, the two tables they had for dine in were already taken. Luckily, our plan was to stuff ourselves in the comfort of our home anyways. The staff were friendly, efficient, and veryyy generous with their portions. We tried their orange chicken, Kung pao chicken, and chow mein. The chow mein was delicious! So flavorful, chewy, and Al dente. The orange chicken was decent, but some pieces definitely have more breading than others. The Kung pao chicken was better in my opinion. It had a spicy kick, and the chicken pieces were tender. Overall, one take out order fed both me and my boyfriend, and we had some for leftovers. For $16, you can't go wrong!

Long lines for this place! Food will hold you up for next day. Customer service is whatever. Ask for hot sauce and there's an attitude from the worker

Tried this place yesterday. It was packed. I asked a few other customers if they come here alot, only one said yes and his reco was orange chicken because it comes out fresh every few minutes. Everyone else said the same thing- its my first time because I saw it on instagram. I got chow mein, broccoli beef, and bbq pork. The plate portion is huge enough for 2 people. When the lady handed me the order she said you want hot sauce honey... so cute. Recommend you try it.

I'm tired of Hong Kong getting lower ratings on Yelp. It's literally a fast food Chinese food spot that fills up their containers for such an affordable price. And their food hits if you are craving Chinese. For a two item combo it is about $15. I like to for half fried rice and half noodles (although I prefer their noodles). My favorite sides are their orange chicken and mushroom chicken. I like that their mushroom chicken comes with zucchinis. The sauce for both items are always good. And because Hong Kong Express is usually so busy with the line out the door, fresh food is always being made. The last time I came here was on a Thursday for a late lunch and the line wasn't bad. It didn't take very long for my turn and for them to fill it up. An order is definitely two portions for me. And what I love about Hong Kong Express, unlike Lucky's is that they take credit card. The inside is super casual. There is no seating inside really.
